Latham Illustrations: The Ultimate Feminist Etsy Gift Guide

The Ultimate feminist Etsy Gift Guide has been amazingly successful in bringing attention to so many wonderfully empowering small businesses! With so much interest, and so many people that I want to interview, and those who want to take part; I decided that I’ll be doing a post along with adding them to the guide (so the guide is easier on the eyes.)

You can find all information about the guide on the Ultimate Feminist Etsy Gift Guide page, but just as a little refresher, or if you’re new here (hey!)

The Ultimate Feminist Etsy Gift Guide is your go-to guide for the most empowering, inclusive and thoughtful gifts for all of your girls out there, whether it’s a gift for your fellow feminist bestie or a pick-me-up for your badass self.

Latham Illustrations

Today’s wonderful woman is Jeniffer Latham from Latham Illustrations. Jeniffer is a 21-year-old student, studying illustration and kicking some serious hiney on the side. I was so happy to approach her when I saw her wonderful designs that I knew so many of you would love.

I asked Jeniffer the three questions we all needed to get to know the brains and aspirations behind Latham Illustrations in regards to empowering their audience.

I asked Jeniffer:

Describe Latham’s Illustrations in three words

Jeniffer: Positive, vibrant and empowering.

What does feminism mean to you?

Jeniffer: That women and men are not exactly the same, but equal. We should all get the same pay, advantages, respect and the same power. I wish we could just squash the stereotypes and just be happy, loving and supportive of one another no matter what sex we are. Feminism to me is all about loving myself and knowing that I can be whatever I want to be and one of the ways I do this is by illustrating my thoughts and feelings!

How does Latham’s Illustrations look to empower women and children?

Jeniffer: I never expected my illustrations to empower women and children as much as it has! I wish to continue making people feel empowered through my illustrations. It makes me so happy when parents have bought my ‘All Boobs Are Beautiful’ print to teach their children that all women are amazing and unique in their own way. Social media nowadays is a powerful platform to share my work and I am delighted that I have opportunities to make people smile and feel great about their bodies!

“Love your legs” A lovely vibrant print that shows so much inclusivity (I love the leg with tattoos the most.)

Don’t forget to follow Latham Illustrations on Instagram, I checked it out and I’m pretty in love with every single thing I’ve seen that I had to show all of you.
